Everyone keeps asking whether altseason has started. I think that question skips a step. Before a market gets broad, it usually gets a leader. Friday’s ETF flows… Bitcoin: -$201.9M Ethereum: +$102.1M Bitcoin funds are still roughly +$924M over the last five sessions, so capital is obviously not abandoning Bitcoin. Bu, Ethereum might still be the more interesting part. Ten straight positive ETF sessions. Roughly $1.5B in net inflows. ETH/BTC up about 30% over the last month. Bitcoin does not have to lose for Ethereum to start leading. Every market needs leaders, and markets rarely rotate all at once. One asset usually starts earning capital before the crowd gives the move a name. Going up because Bitcoin lifts the whole market is participation. Getting bought when Bitcoin is not doing the lifting is the first hint of leadership. I’m not calling broad altseason. But an ETH season? That is becoming a fair question. The next pullback is where we find out. If Ethereum keeps outperforming Bitcoin when the market gets hit, then it is no longer just being carried higher. It is starting to lead. Markets do not rotate all at once. They find a leader first, then the rest decide whether to follow.
