We talk a lot about the "coming wealth transfer" as Boomers age and what that means for investments.
But what if the "wealth" is in things the next generation either does not value or can't maintain, such as art?
This recent article from Bloomberg notes: "The sheer tonnage of boomer-owned art is vast, and the total demand for it doesn’t come close to the amount of supply that’s about to arrive." [1]
Furthermore, it may be hard for the next generation to store it properly, enjoy it, or show it.
I'm reminded of the "Bitcoin Total Addressable Market" from @Croesus_BTC that he recently updated:

View original →We get a lot of questions on how secure Bitcoin is from various adversaries.
Is Bitcoin's security budget a concern? What about 51% attacks?
Senior analyst Daniel Gray just released a two-part research report diving into Bitcoin's programmed security.
Both of these reports take a deep and serious look at the various attack vectors Bitcoin may face, and then shows while they are all theoretically possible, the economic incentives built into Bitcoin are designed to rebuff them. ⬇️

6/3/2026 Even though it's only the start of June, we are already taking a "mid-year" look at how our 2026 Look Ahead is holding up:
I'll admit that my idea of gold having another strong year isn't doing great so far, but the key thesis of "a broader shift away from the dollar-based system and toward adding exposure to an asset “outside” of the traditional system" is gaining momentum in my opinion as gold is still being accumulated aggressively and bitcoin is increasingly recognized for its neutrality.
See how five other trends we called out at the beginning of this year are faring below ⬇️

Our new and improved 2026 Q2 "Signals" report is out!
We took our current Signals Report, which brought you loads of on-chain and market metrics, and ran them through a more rigorous statistical analysis in an effort to provide more signal and less noise.
The result is a more streamlined and most importantly--more forward looking report.
For example, you will now see additional commentary on how correlated a metric is to forward returns and what the asset has returned in the past when the metrics were at the level they are today.

5/1/2026 Initial thoughts on Bitcoin 2026 in Las Vegas:
More subdued energy compared to last year, which is not surprising given the current bear market.
However, I thought it was better because of it -- the "true believers" remain and I had a lot of great conversations and interactions with people critically thinking about the future of #bitcoin, whether that be technical developments, quantum, building on bitcoin, financial services etc.
The booth hall was largely whittled down to core bitcoin companies this year - miners, infrastructure, lots of financial services.
Was honored to be on a panel talking about how bitcoin as a risk asset has changed -- will put the link once the recording goes live!
