Finally reading "Broken Money" by @LynAldenContact and it's a good reminder that $BTC and other internet-native hard monies will most reward the patient ($ZEC the most credible complement to $BTC, in this category).
From 2016-2025 there was a wave of impatience as the promise of blockchains drew crowds of people that didn't deeply understand Bitcoin, and treated the space as simply another tech platform. Bitcoin is more of a social reboot, than a technological one, and such a reboot takes decades to play out.
Now, impatience is washing out to other seemingly faster moving waters, taking us closer to what things felt like in 2015 and before... which will once again reward those that understood all along.

4/29/2026 Although I nibbled my middle target ~a month ago (< 5% of available cash), still expecting the bottom two targets to be tested in Q2 or Q3. Reminder that I always remain significantly long $BTC in some form, increasingly through ETFs, to maintain exposure and peace of mind. https://t.co/cvaQ9pL7a6

1/25/2026 I'm not a buyer yet, but if I were to be a buyer, imo the areas to watch for $BTC are:
~$80K: Nov '25 low, local low of this "bear"
~$74K: April '25 low, Tariff Tantrum low, just below $MSTR's cost basis (~$76K)
~$70K: Top of $50-70K range, near '21 high
~$58K: 200W SMA & on-chain cost basis (RV = ~$56K)
~$50K & below: bottom of the weekly range below, psychological, below this number you would see "death of BTC" calls once again
Importantly, I don't care what happens. If we rally from here, I'll ride what I have and diversify my portfolio, if we fall apart I'll buy more $BTC & select cryptoassets.

May the descending bear wash out the bittercoiners so that we can go back to having nocoiners and hodlers.

11/30/2025 There’s so much pessimism and short-term thinking on cryptoassets these days that the R/R is tilting towards optimism and long-term, sized, high-conviction positions in distressed, public, cryptoassets.
That said, the time isn’t yet now, imo. I shared my view @ $109K that $BTC only starts to get interesting < $75K, and a revisit of the 200W SMA is always possible (~$56K currently, will trend higher), with all of those numbers still representing a mellow bear. Can we go lower? Sure. Pay your taxes and let’s see what 2026 brings.
Observing discourse & price-action around $MON, which is one of the highest quality teams to launch in the last few years (yes, I’m a venture investor in it), and sits at a tenth of the FDV of previous high-flyers in its category, while having superior tech & design choices across the board, shows how much repricing is happening. Starting low is a good thing, even if it goes to <= $0.01 next year I can see that washout being healthy. I’d happily accumulate. Every major cryptoasset has had washouts, that’s what creates opportunity and interest.
More broadly, the vicious repricing happening in crypto is cathartic. Everyone is taking their licks, and smart ones will learn and adapt. Most cryptoassets should go to zero — this is liquid venture, what did you expect?
But, there are going to be a handful that reprice far too low as the babies are thrown out with the bathwater, and having the conviction, at the right time, to be optimistic when the consensus is pessimistic will once again yield 10-100X’s.

A similar, public & liquid opp beckons for select major cryptoassets over the coming decades.
Trims during exuberance make sense, but hodling the majority will remain the key skill.

11/26/2025 One of the most important reasons for @placeholdervc to back @monad early was @keoneHD was obviously extremely thoughtful and high-integrity.
The blockchains that persist will all have this common, founding chord. https://t.co/bVctyZ9O3r
