Bitcoin's range can resolve in one of two ways. 1. Upward breakout aiming at $88k. Or 2. Downward breakout targetting $70k. Bitcoin's momentum keeps falling. First time after Aug 19 bull market breakout, RSI is below its SMA50 mean - more down days than up days recently. I checked the market yesterday and talked what's next. Here's the recap. 1. $30,000 target was wrong and admitted publicly: The evidence changed with weekly close above the 200-day MA, 40% move on a $1.5T+ asset, breadth 3x so the bias changed. Arguing with the market costs you money. Adapting to it makes you money. 2. 2027 is a pre-election year - best of 4 year cycle. Bitcoin's average annual return over 16 years is 128%. Pre-election years have averaged 216%. That's the structural tailwind going into next year. 3. The current dip to $77K is consolidation. RSI reset, momentum normal, SMA200 holding at $70K - my ideal buy. But I'll scale in more at $71-72K. Big boys bid above the level everyone is watching. 4. Cutting winners early was my biggest mistake. Not the losses, the exits. The profit factor was 1.73 but could have been significantly higher. Closing early feels safe.
