@RaufA99405 Well, WTI was $103 a week ago.

@RaufA99405 Well, WTI was $103 a week ago.
View original →Cargo ship was just hit in the Strait of Hormuz causing WTI oil price to jump $3 to over $95, just as I had the good fortune yesterday to load up on $CJ below $12, producing virtually 100% unhedged oil. Smart timing of buys often requires considerable luck.
View original →I sold my oil stocks late last Friday as oil prices fell. Monday morning I stated on X what I did and why I sold. Mon. and Tue. oil prices/oil stocks declined precipitously. Today oil prices/oil stocks stabilized. This was a good call, saved serious money. Time for a break now.
View original →@Matans8442 First, tell me where I was wrong. The XLE is down about 5% this week. The WTI price in three days from Friday morning is down about $10. On Friday I sold $CJ at $12.60, $WCP at $18.75 and $VLE at $15.66. My bearish call if Monday morning is very much intact. Now FO!
View original →@clayflanagan1 Remember that clothes on sales racks continue to get marked down over time. Don’t rush to buy back. Without the war as oil supplies rise, WTI will be below $80 within a relatively short period. Be patient but you can always nibble a bit.
View original →I expect more oil price and oil stock declines tomorrow. Just the opinion of a very senior citizen, take it as you wish.

View original →@67Dodge I don’t think so; most oil stocks are still falling. It will be interesting to see how they trade later today when the November WTI contract becomes the front month to trade, and which is right now at only $89.59. More oil stocks declines will continue. I am glad I don’t own any.
View original →Interesting that the October WTI contract which expires today is up $1.07 to $96.85 while the November WTI contract is trading at $91.75 down $0.62. Must be because today is last day for short covering.
View original →Look, I am bearish on oil prices and oil stocks. Although I have been right on this call so far, I could also be blown out of water any minute. Consequently, everyone should do their own homework, see what other “experts” are saying and act accordingly. I am just one voice.
