Also, Meta is hinting at potential network effects down the line (not there yet, but can happen if their agents start interacting with each other to finish tasks)

View original →I’m not sure but my best guess is if someone sends you a story or reel in DM, they’ll still be able to see it but the algorithm won’t show the next reel if they exceed the time limit/after night mode etc. About DM habit, I don’t lose much sleep over it. Time spent on DM already dominated on incremental growth in the last 5 years and look at how monetization fared during this period. My guess is your incremental propensity to click ads declines the longer your session is. So for Meta, the super long sessions probably have rapidly diminishing monetization return. (Just a guess, don’t know for sure of course)
