@TyrellCorpe @SpacBobby Starlink is likely to go after this opportunity (mainly in car) with a Starlink Nano hockey puck like D2D device to put on your car dashboard (then you connect it via WiFi to your devices). Basically a smaller version of Starlink Mini that some people already use in their cars

@ex_liberal_1990 Amazon and AST appear to think they need to acquire more spectrum from somewhere. Less clear about SpaceX. But the biggest issue is that Viasat doesn't seem to be a willing seller

@DanRamsFan @engine_rich How many polar Starlink sats are needed? There isn't much commercial demand at high latitudes (military Starshield launches will continue). There's no way SpaceX needs to keep adding polar capacity for another 2.5 years. More likely than not, launches stop in the next 6 months

@Rebel44CZ I don't think that's the right takeaway. This will cement Starlink's lead, raising costs and delaying deployment for competitors and potentially even allowing SpaceX to compensate for decreased launch revenues by raising Starlink prices due to the lack of alternatives
