@SpaceInvestor_D This projection implies an ARPU of 92$/month/subscriber. This doesn't check well with current trends in Starlink ARPU. I also think it brings together consumer, enterprise and Starshield segment revenues. I haven't seen the Wells Fargo report, but the summary looks sloppy.
View original →@SciGuySpace Launch never left the ’black box’ price system. Transporter missions were an exception, bespoke pricing was the rule. SpaceX has an advantage on cost since F9 became reusable, and intends to keep this advanatge for itself if and when Starship becomes operational.

View original →Additional gains will be provided by launch cost reduction with Starship, if and when it demonstartes low costs of operations. Until then Starlink is deployed with Falcon9.

View original →So the marginal revenue of each new satellite is decreasing at exponential rates. But what is the shape of the cost curve? Falcon9 launch costs have reached their asymptote, and are not expected to diminish. Starlink production cost may also have reached their minimum.

View original →100x more capacity, OK, but how much of that can actually be monetised? My guess is that the fraction of additional capacity generating revenue diminishes fast due to the geographical distribution of customers. Starlink revenues do not scale linearly with capacity adds.
